Steak `n Shake in Oviedo

This is supposed to be an American diner. I travel and use this location at least once per month. Food always good, but LOUD LATIN music tonight is NOT an American diner vibe. When I asked that it be turned down, they changed to appropriate music long enough for me to order then changed it back. I was the only diner tonight. I left .😜

STEAK AND SHAKE is the best place for faster and cheaper places to eat. Love the chili

My fries arrived warm at best. My grandsons garlic burger was so greasy, he used a napkin to wipe the grease off the top of the bun and he could not eat it. The server never checked on us after she bought the food ,along with the receipt to the table. When paying, the Mgr never asked how everything was. Nothing!

Better than and cheaper than McDonalds and it's sit down service. Their rewards program gives you $5 every time you spend $50. They always have lots of coupons but it's so inexpensive I feel guilty even using them. Great shakes and burgers. Great service. Not a fancy place but what they do they do great.

The food is good but I'm not a fan of their shoestring fries. Service is fast and the prices are cheaper than most fast food places.

Food was hot and order was right. However, one sandwich was not made 100% correct. Wrong bread and no sauce.

I think the staff was pretty new, we were seated pretty quickly, but it took a while for someone to get over to us...Order was finally taken, but then the server went over to greet and take another table's order. Better to put ours in then take their order as to not bombard the kitchen, and make our wait longer. Our food came out, missing our shake, we were told they were a little backed up, and it would be out in a few. It came out a few minutes later, with none coming out before it...turns out the shake was never rang in.Staff was friendly enough, and will possibly get it after a little more training.

The best meal I've ever had from Steak 'n Shake! Ordered a single with bacon and cheese and added baked beans to my fries. Everything was perfect and delicious. My husband and others thought the same! I tried my husband's Cole slaw and it was cold and fresh and tasted great! 👍

Gosh how I love these guys and how they do their fries. I managed to miss happier hour by a few minutes, but then I walked into this beautiful $45 deal so what's wrong with that I guess?

Only one server doing the best he could. Food was ok. Was seated quickly, the food order came on time but the milkshake was really late. The server was too busy. Also I was ignored completely when I went to check out. Yes, she was cooking but never once checked over her shoulder on the register to see if anyone was there. I'm pretty sure someone else mentioned me waiting. It felt rude. I think she was the manager because her shirt was blue

First time eating breakfast at Steak N shake this morning. Pancakes hot and freshly cooked eggs with Tennessee pride sausage. I had warm sliced bananas in between my two cakes. Simple breakfast! Can’t believe we missed this place for breakfast all these years.

does steak and shake have the appearance of being a little bit dirty. Our server was very attentive but then again she was very busy. the food was great though water came out wrong and the run flavor milkshake for my daughter. I would still recommend this restaurant because as I said the food to come out terrific.

Order (via app & curbside pickup) was filled fast & correct, burgers & fries were really good, & shakes were great.

Worst experience had to go back to the drive thru to get my debit card and my fires that were missing from my simple order. While waiting online to get my debit card the associate was trying to give it to the wrong customer. How crazy is that. I got my card requested for my fries and the associate looked at me like I was talking Chinese . I drove away by frustration because they didn’t understand me. Let’s get it together gentlemen . Service sucked!!

Son's favorite restaurant. The BEST shakes. I only eat their hot dogs, and the chili cheese is good stuff. Not a fan of their fries, but you can get them seasoned for better taste. I replace them with a salad. I don't like everything there,, but it's a great meeting place, especially for families!

One of the places where I take my grandchildren. Many options to choose. The kid size hamburgers are tasty and the right portion for my grandkids. The milkshakes are wonderful too. By the way the kid size hamburgers are just right for me too!

Expensive for what is served now. Alot smaller menu and food was cold.

If you haven't eaten at steak n shake it's certainly worth trying. I've never gotten a burger I didn't thoroughly enjoy and love those stupid shoe string fries. Everything is made to order so it's fresh... Although it often takes a bit longer than other fast food places because, of course it does. If you complain that made to order food takes longer than don't go there and also stop being a Karen.

The young man that waited on me and my mom was totally amazing. Has so much potential in him. Made us feel very welcomed glad we stopped there to eat.

We got the $4 special-double steakburger w/ cheese and a small shake, with the free fries. Pretty good for $4.

The food was super good and pretty cheap in the waitress that I had was amazing even though she was new!

The service is slow but the food is good.

Food was good, service was excellent and the manager asked me how my breakfast was. There were having fun teasing the kid that was late but he definately could have used a clean apron.

Good food , fast and friendly service and a clean environment. Our server was very attentive to my mom and I always wearing a smile. We used a coupon out of our weekly junk mail and saved as ton of money. Thank you Steak and Shake for bringing back fond memories of the good old days. 👍🍔🍟🍨

Bought shakes here. Only complaint is long wait time in drive through. Shakes were great!

I've always gotten good waiters/waitresses, they have a nice kitchen, a nice store, a nice location, and their staff has to put up with large crowds late at night so good on them.

Our waiter, Aaron was one of the best servers we have ever had at the restaurant. We were just coming through on our way home and stopped to eat. We had the double cheeseburger, fries and drink.

Slowest service I've ever received. Had a decent line but not one to justify a 20 min wait.

We had a large order and we asked them to label the shakes because someone has a bad peanut allergy. Nevertheless, when we asked them why they didn’t label it the guy had nothing to say. We spent 30+ minutes in the parking lot trying to figure out which one was which. And guess what y’all, they ended up giving us 2 peanut butter shakes. And my cousin had a bad allergic reaction. She almost died. We had to rush home to get her EpiPen!!!!!!! At least LABEL THE SHAKES.

Look over the WHOLE menu before pulling the trigger, the food is INCREDIBLE and the service is friendly and cheerful.

The employees were very friendly and I received my order pretty quick for it being 5a.m.

Great service all around. I went back in because the other night my order go missed up a little. I called in they took my name an when I went back in they replaced my order with hot fresh food with a smile an a sorry about the mix up. Now that's what you call customer service.
